played a few songs at my son’s elementary school with some other dads, as the kids sang along. and for those few beautiful moments, the world was a hopeful, green place.

took my daughter to the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) music conference today. im so proud of her and my son–they are so much better then I ever was when it comes to reading music. i still cant tell my band what note, chord, or even what key i’m in.
