well its been a long winter and it still seems to be linguring so im trying not to pay close attention to the temp,boy I do miss the days when the weather didnt matter still im looking foward to spring and playing in the sun. I have been writing songs all winter,just recording them with a piano and vocal, its helped me to keep looking and moving foward,yesterday I played one of the songs in our car while driving with my son, when it was over he asked dad what song was that, I said its one of my latest, he said I like it , I smiled ,I didnt think he was really paying attetion, it was agreat feel good moment .

Halfway through our Nov 20th show, my son Cole came up on stage and played a new song he wrote for the piano that he calls Winters Worries. I just closed my eyes and smiled. Following Cole’s song with a warm loud applause from the audience, my daughter Andie Juliette sang a new song I wrote for her, called The One. There I stood on stage wondering, “How do I follow this?” I will never forget the magic of being beside my kids on stage. Andy

rehearsal with the elementry school was so much fun. these kids were incredible; their voices, pure poetry. we were rehearsing for a peace concert with a song I wrote for them called “Together.”

i was a guest singer last night at a John Lennon tribute concert. it was a lot of fun working with all these great musicians and be a part of something where my nerves would normally get the best of me. thanks to everyone for making me feel so comfortable. and thanks most of all to John for his great music. I know he would have liked the energy in the room last night. andy

played a few songs at my son’s elementary school with some other dads, as the kids sang along. and for those few beautiful moments, the world was a hopeful, green place.
